The Art of Motion
My sculptures are kinetic, designed to spiral and spin in the slightest wind, but the art of my work is the motion itself- the intricate patterns and optical effects created by the sculptural elements rotating in continually changing tensions and harmonies.
My designs embody integrity of materials and precision craftsmanship even as they celebrate the transitory nature of the forms, colors, lights and shadows created by each piece in motion.
You may find them pleasing, calming, meditative and mystic, but I hope, above all, simply beautiful. The images on the website will give you an idea of the works in motion. You may see in them what I see, or, even better, as visions summoned from your own imagination.
Choosing a Color Finish
The finish on these outdoor sculptures is applied in multiple layers and contains the best ultraviolet and corrosion inhibitors available; providing the best possible long lasting protection. If you choose, an application of wax to your sculpture from time to time will help retain the present appearance for as long as possible. Developed by the artist after many years of experimentation, each finish is a unique patina. It is applied using a hot process which binds the color to the metal.

Verdigris, Shiny Copper and Aluminum vs. Color
Verdigris is the most natural long lasting maintenance free patina. Shiny Copper and Aluminum are a much more contemporary look that we offer. Each of these is sealed and will not change in color.

Mounting & Pole Options
We offer a ground stake mount as well as a deck mount for outdoor living spaces. Custom mounting options are available for discussion and possible additional fees. Full instructions are sent with every kinetic sculpture for easy installation. Our steel poles for mounting sculpture are powder coated in gray and black. We suggest gray poles for verdigris patinas and black poles for color patinas. We also offer standard sizes for each kinetic sculpture you may choose from 3' to 7' at no extra charge along with your choice of the two pole colors.

Pedestals
Pedestals are a wonderful feature that is added over the poles before installing your kinetic sculpture on top. They offer a more formal look for you kinetic sculpture. They are available in three different colors; Verdigris, Stainless Steel and Black. They are available in two standard sizes 5' and 6'.
